
After score a wonderful 22 winning streak, Celtic is crushed without mercy. The hottest NBA news is that now they only score 28-9, the second best after Cleveland Cavaliers. The bad thing is that they are in the negative moment. Even when they only face weak team like Charlotte Bobcats, Celtic is lose. In the last game in TD Banknorth Garden, once again, Celtic lose and beaten by Houston Rockets. For your information, Houston beat Celtics when they only rely on Yao Ming since T-Mac and Ron Artest is not in the good condition.
The Celtic's captain, Paul Pierce believe that every team in the NBA must has a negative moment. Then, he believes that it is the most negative moment for Boston Celtics. Winning is sweet, but if you never taste a lose, you will never know how win taste. However, Pierce believe that Celtics will turn the things around and win NBA championship.
Last but not least, the Celtic's coach, Doc Rivers stated that Celtics will back in the winning track immediately. He sees in the players eye that all of the Celtics players are hate themselves when they cannot win the game. He call it champions mental. However, even Celtics in the negative moment right now, there are no teams who do not respect them. Boston Celtics still become the champions contender.

Basketball and Politics?
Yesterday, it was a woeful day in Ankara, Turkey. There was an accident that makes basketball no longer "world games". In the Eurocup match between Turk Telekom from Turkey against Bnei Hasharon from Israel, the supporters did embarrassing thing. They threw coins to the Bnei Hasharon's players and terror them. They said that it was a humanity movement to show their sympaty to the Palestina people. They do not like Israel's agression.
In the end, Bnei Hasharon do not want to continue the match. The Turkey's police did well to control the situation and get rid of fans who make the incident. However, Bnei Hasharon insist to not to continue the game, even the game was held without any fans after the incident.
There was nothing wrong about their opinion. I mean, yes, every people in the world hates Israel. No one like wars. However, their method to show their sympaty was totally wrong. Basketball is a game of world. It teach about brotherhood and also there was no border. Yes, basketball without border is the main thing that people need to understand. Clearly, the fans who make coins incident were definitely do not understand about its concept.

Basketball Traditional Physical Exercise
Basketball is a game of physic. It is all about hard move, crush, and high tempo game. It is why all of the basketball players need better physical strength than other athlete. Basketball needs high level of physical training. Many professional players spend about an hour in gym to train their physic. However, if you cannot afford money to pay monthly membership in gym, you can simply do the traditional physical training of basketball. Here are basketball tips to discuss about them.
1. Hill Running.
What else is better than hill running in early morning? The last year rookie of the year, Kevin Durant, always do it everyday since he is high school. It is why Durant has superior physical ability and stamina even his body is small. Find about 400 meters hills around your location. Do 20 hill runs with 2 minutes break in every run. You will get better physical strength than before.
2. Suicide.
It is what every coach love. In every basketball team, in every level, suicide run always be done. Do you know that New Orleans Hornets do suicide in their physical day? New Orleans Hornets do 20 suicide runs in 20 minutes. It makes them really quick and has more stamina than the other teams in NBA.
3. Push up.
Even a junior high players do this training. Yes, push-up, the most traditional training is used in many physical day in high school and NCAA teams. Do no less than hundred push up in less than 2 minutes and you will get better strength. You will able to increase your shooting range. This basketball tip is really good if you do it well.

Basketball Tips – How to defense?

Nowadays many kinds of sports are very popular in various countries. It is based on the amount of popularity and the exposure it have among the people. But while playing any game we need to follow some tips and techniques, in order to play a perfect game. Likewise my favorite game Basketball too is having many techniques and tips to be followed. One of the main areas in the basketball is defense position. It is one of the important areas to be concentrated, in order to stop the opposite team of scoring many goals.

Contesting shots
An opponent should not be allowed to shoot the ball uncontested. The problem, however, with players attempting to block shots is the tendency to commit fouls. Therefore, the proper way to contest a shot is to stay on your feet facing the shooter until the shooter leaves his or her feet, then attempt to get your hand on top of the basketball.
Cover Down
Whenever the ball penetrates on a pass or a dribble, all players should cover down to the level of the ball and force it back out. When the ball is dribbled toward the baseline, the nearest help side defender must quickly stop the ball before it reaches the lane. If the ball is passed to the post, we keep him from dribbling by quickly covering down. When, we cover down to the baseline from on top. When the ball is passed back out, all players recover to their man. Use the closest man to the ball rule on recovery.
Finishing the Defensive Trap
You begin by having two defensive players try to tie up the offense without fouling. Instead of having the defense flailing their arms, have the defense slowly move closer to the offense. You want to force the offense to give the ball to the defense by tying up a player for five seconds or causing a bad pass. The offense tries to pivot away from the defense. The drill lasts for six seconds. Have each player change positions twice in the drill.
Stance
The proper defensive stance is necessary in order to play good defense. On the ball, feet should be shoulder width apart, with the knees bent, and your butt down and back straight. Your hands should be outside your knees with the palms up. You should be low (your nose to your man´s chest) in "nose-chest" position. When you are low, you can change directions more quickly, which is a key for playing great defense.
Jump to the Ball
Any time the ball is passed you must jump to the ball. Make gradual, quick, immediate adjustments in your stance. You must be in position before the ball is caught. Jumping to the ball allows you to be in proper position to front cutters, avoid screens (be a moving target), and help teammates. Any time the ball is dribbled you must make the proper ball side or help side adjustments in positioning.
Thus I think that these defensive tips will be really helpful for you to play the basketball. So play your game clever and take down your opponents easily.
